On April 21st, ODAM celebrated International Women’s Day with thousands of women and families in attendance. The event featured classic dances, speeches, and delicious food!
2010 marks the 13th annual celebration of International Women’s Day in Tiruchuli, and included special guests and local dignitaries. ODAM’s students at the KGBV School and its girl residents of the Barathi Hostel participated in traditional South Indian drum playing and dance on stage. The evening began with a march through the town’s main road and finished with a beautiful fireworks display!
